How can we judge Prez "stimulus" package?

Prez wins Porkulus battle: Now What?

Ever look a gift in the face?

Now that the Prez has his Stimulus bill to sign, what should the "rational man" (if there are any left!) do?

W. Edwards Deming called it the "feedback loop."

We need to know the path of porkulus (much like a hurricane) and its expected outputs, in order to determine if in fact, it is working as promised by the Prez and his merry band of Democrats.

I realize that this is mostly uncharted territory (for politicians), but that is how projects in the real world work. You create a document of deliverables and then measure the progress (or lack thereof).

When it becomes obvious that "the wheels have come off" and cannot be replaced, you abort.

Mister Prez, we cannot (by your own admission) wait.

We need to know the mileposts 30 or 60 or at most, 90 days out, that will tell us if you and your team are the smartest politicians ever (as your package is not based on common sense)... or, as some suggest, you are merely a Chicago-style politician that knows how to spin a great yarn.

By what measurable deliverable(s) can we judge your "stimulus" package?

The very future of our country depends on knowing as soon as possible.

Ben Stein on Porkulus Bill

Ben Stein on Porkulus Bill

Ben Stein weighs in on Porkulus
"Only ten per cent of the "stimulus" to be spent on 2009."
Guess the Prez figures we really are not bad enough off, at least not just yet.
